IV SEDATION

IV sedation dentistry works as a form of conscious sedation to help you feel relaxed during your appointment. This method does not put you fully to sleep, but it does make you less aware of your surroundings — including anything the dentist may or may not be doing to your mouth. That means you can still respond to verbal commands or gentle nudging, and you should not need help breathing. Unlike other forms of sedation that are inhaled (like nitrous oxide) or taken in pill form, the dentist administers the sedation intravenously, which means through your vein.

DENTAL CLEANING

Dental prophylaxis is necessary every 6 months to prevent plaque build up above and below the gum line which can harden and become tartar, also known as calculus, leading to serious periodontal problems.  Plaque removal can also help with bad breathe (halitosis) and stain removal can result in a healthier looking smile!

Dental Crowns
Dentures & Bridges
DENTURES & BRIDGES

Depending on the amount  and location of teeth missing, a bridge or denture can help you replace missing teeth.  If the missing tooth is between two teeth, we can do a bridge to replace the gap. The bridge option would be fixed and does not come in or out.

A partial denture is removable prosthetic device that comes in and out and can replace multiple missing teeth at once.

If you are missing all of your teeth and would like replacement, complete denture would be the best option to replace your teeth.  If you prefer to have teeth

DENTAL IMPLANTS

If you're missing a tooth or multiple teeth and do not like the idea of a removable prosthesis or preparation adjacent teeth for a bridge, dental implant might be a better option for you.  To replace the missing tooth, a titanium metal post will be placed in your jaw and allowed to integrate. Once integrated, the implant will act like a root upon which which we can restore with a crown.  Talk with your doctor today to see if you are a good candidate for dental implants.

Dental Implants
Invisalign
INVISALIGN

Unlike traditional metal brackets, Invisalign are clear aligners which makes them more esthetically pleasing.  These trays are removable so you can take them out making it easy to brush and floss your teeth to avoid problems typically associated with traditional metal braces.

NON-SURGICAL ROOT CANALS

The pulp is the vital tissue at the center of your tooth.  When the pulp gets damaged either through infection, trauma or periodontal abscess, it needs to be removed and the canal that houses the pulp needs to be thoroughly cleaned.  Once the canals are disinfected, an inert material, usually gutta percha, will be used to fill up the canal space to prevent recurrent infection.  It is important to follow up with your doctor once the root canal is complete to obtain a full coverage restoration in order to prevent fracturing of the root canal treated tooth.

PERIODONTAL DISEASE TREATMENT

Gingivitis is a well known gum condition but most people are not aware what happens when that gum condition worsens.  Gingivitis is the inflammation of your soft tissue around your teeth.  If allowed to progress, the inflammation can lead to bone loss, deep pocketing, and eventually to tooth loss.  Pockets are area between your gum and your tooth where the tartar could collect.

On your initial visit with us, we will conduct  a gum assessment to ensure the appropriate type of cleaning is done to maintain your pearly whites!

DENTAL SEALANTS

During the formation of the tooth, deep grooves can form.  These grooves are potential spots for cavities to form as a result of bacteria resting in the depth of the grooves.  To prevent these bacteria from settling in the groove, we recommend placing sealants  to block out those deep grooves.

Porcelain Veneers
PORCELAIN VENEERS

Porcelain Veneers are thin shell of ceramics that bond to your tooth.  Veneers are good option for those that do not like the way their tooth is shaped, colored, stained, or malpositioned.  Talk with your doctor today for an evaluation to see if you're a good candidate for veneers.

TEETH WHITENING

Are you unhappy with the color of your teeth?  Do you feel like your teeth are looking not as bright as they used to be?  Teeth whitening might be the answer for you.  Bleaching can be done in the comfort of your own home with custom made trays that can be ready to be picked up in 1-2 days.

Bone Grafting
BONE GRAFTING

Whether a tooth/teeth has been missing for a while or recently extracted, bone loss will occur making it harder and maybe even less esthetic for tooth/teeth replacement.  Bone grafting may be necessary to preserve or improve bone level needed for implants or underneath a bridge.

NITROUS OXIDE SEDATION

Are you anxious about your dental visit  but want to be able to drive home afterwards, nitrous oxide or "laughing gas" could be the answer for you.  Laughing gas will not put you to sleep but will help you relax through inhalation.  It has a temporary effect and after 5 minutes of breathing in oxygen, you will be feeling back to normal again.  Ask us at your visit to see if nitrous oxide is an option for you.

Nitrous Oxide Sedation
Tooth Extraction
TOOTH EXTRACTION

Tooth extractions may be necessary as a result of severely decayed teeth, advanced periodontal disease, poorly positioned or broken in a way that may not be restorable.

Depending on location and reason for extractions, it may be necessary to replace tooth/teeth to prevent problems with chewing ability, issue with jaw joints, and shifting teeth. Discuss with your doctor today regarding tooth/teeth replacement options that are best suited for your needs.
