WHAT TO EXPECT
How We Handle Your Emergency
When you call our office with a dental emergency, here's exactly what happens — start to finish.
We Listen
Our front desk asks what's going on — pain level, when it started, whether there's swelling or trauma. No long forms. We're trying to figure out how urgent you are.
We Fit You In Same-Day
We hold same-day spots specifically for emergencies. If you're in pain, we don't make you wait three weeks for a routine slot.
We Diagnose With X-Rays
Same-day digital X-rays (and 3D CBCT scan if the case calls for it). You'll see what we see — no mystery diagnoses.
We Treat the Urgency First
Whether it's a temporary crown, a filling, a root canal, an extraction, or just pain relief and an antibiotic to get you through the weekend — we handle the urgent piece today and plan the rest with you.
We Follow Up
We'll call to check on you the next day. If anything changes, we get you back in.
What Counts as a Dental Emergency?
Not every dental problem can wait until your next routine visit. Here's when you should call us today instead of putting it off:
🦷
Severe Tooth Pain
Throbbing or sharp pain that won't quit — often a sign of an infection, cracked tooth, or exposed nerve.
🦷
Knocked-Out Tooth
Time matters. If you can get to us within an hour, we may be able to re-implant the tooth. Keep it moist (in milk or saliva) on the way.
💥
Broken or Chipped Tooth
Trauma from a fall, accident, or biting something hard. We can usually save the tooth if we see you quickly.
💊
Lost Filling or Crown
Exposed tooth structure is vulnerable to infection and pain. Call us — we'll fit you in for a same-day repair.
🩸
Bleeding or Swelling
Persistent gum bleeding, jaw swelling, or facial swelling — these can signal an abscess that needs prompt treatment.
😬
Wisdom Tooth Pain
Impacted or infected wisdom teeth cause swelling, pain, and jaw stiffness. We evaluate and treat (or refer for surgery if needed).
NO SURPRISES
Emergency Visit Pricing
We verify your coverage before you arrive. We believe in upfront pricing, especially for emergency care. Here's what you should expect:
INSURANCE
Usually Covered
If you have dental insurance, emergency exams and X-rays are typically covered. We verify your benefits before your visit so you know what to expect.
SELF-PAY
Limited Exam — $89
Limited emergency exam + X-rays for self-pay patients. The $89 is credited toward any same-day treatment if you proceed.
SAME-DAY TREATMENT
Quoted Upfront
Fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions — all quoted in writing before any work begins. We never start without your approval.
💳 Financing Available: CareCredit, Sunbit, and Dental Finance offer 0% APR options (subject to credit approval) for treatment over $500. In-office payment plans available.
